These are some 8 foot tall French doors that had to be reversed and re-hung to open inward, to accommodate the matching screen doors that we made.

This is a built in cabinet and bookcase made to match the existing cabinets in the home, they have pull out drawers for wrapping paper and linens, and the middle drawer keeps the video games concealed when not in use.

This is a hot tub that the owner bought and I installed and then built the deck and an adjoining enclosure for the heater/pump and plumbing. They also wanted a matching bench with a shelf that would hold towels and other items and keep them dry, it has a slat top like the deck and a concealed top to shed the rain.

Before : Oak cabinets with a Marine grade Plywood counter top and Mexican tile behind the stove, not exactly what the owner wanted in her 1928 farm house.

I wish you could see the ceiling, it had formerly been two rooms, one was coved and one was not. At this point it was half & half with 1/4 inch of plaster on one side and 1/2 inch drywall on the other and a transition in the middle of 5/8 drywall-a huge hump in the ceiling and from cove to square in the middle of the room.

After: I removed the old stove hood, and replaced it with a microwave convection oven, this required cutting down the cabinet above and its paneled doors, fabricating the ductwork in the wall to match the new point of exit on the new appliance with the old hole in the exterior wall. We removed the old ceiling patch and plastered a new transition from old to new, continuing the cove across the wall.

We then removed all of the doors and hardware, prepped and spray painted them to achieve a durable white finish with the pickled grain showing through and installed antique black glass knobs and pulls. ( there weren't enough black pulls so I found some replacement clear ones and spray painted them black to match ) The tile is a 4 inch square installed on point so that it appears to be a diamond, with a black V-cap to hold the water on the counter. The backsplash is a 4 x 6 tile in a brick pattern, each one half over the one below, with an accent line and Black surface bullnose as a cap. We mounted the new sink under the tile with a quarter round transition so that the counters could be wiped down straight into the sink.  We reused the old faucet and added a new Insta-hot hot water tap. All that was left was to install the new stove and dishwasher.

Here is one I'm working on now.

The owner asked me to build a shed onto the back of the house for a laundry area. My suggestion was to move the water heater from the bathroom and utilize the existing water pipes and 220 electrical line, all that was needed was an additional 110 electric line and the drain and vents to be installed under the house. The water heater fit nicely into the insulated pump shed already attached to the back of the house and only needed a 220 line and hot water feed. There was even a piece of scrap linoleum to match for under the new stacking washer/dryer !
